Mango
Mangoes provide an excellent source of vitamin C, carotenes, copper, B vitamins, and fiber.  They are also a good source of potassium, magnesium, and vitamin E. Mangoes contain a high concentration of cartenoids, antioxidant nutrients, and various phytochemicals.  Along with all of the valuable nutrients, including flavonoids, mangoes are effective as an anticancer food.  They also contain several enzymes that help to improve digestion.  One of those enzymes is similar to the papain found in papayas.

Rock Melon /
Cantaloupe

Cantaloupe is low in calories and extremely nutrient-dense.  It provides an excellent source of Vitamin C, potassium, carotenes, and potassium.  It is also a good source of vitamins B6, fiber, niacin, folic acid, thiamine, and pantothenic acid. Cantaloupe contains the compound adenosine, which is effective when used in patients with heart disease.  It helps to keep the blood thin and relieves angina attacks.

Strawberry

Strawberries provide an excellent source of vitamins C and K, fiber, and flavonoids. They also offer a very good source of vitamin B1, iodine, manganese, and pantothenic acid.  Strawberries are also a good source of vitamin B6, folic acid, and biotin. The flavonoids contained in strawberries are responsible for most of their health benefits.   Like other berries, strawberries' anthocyanidins are their most powerful flavonoids.  Anthocyanidins are also responsible for the vibrant red color of strawberries.  Studies have shown that due to Strawberries' unique flavonoid content, they are effective in protecting against inflammation, heart disease, and cancer.

Blueberry

Blueberries offer an excellent source of flavonoids, especially anthocyanidins.   Anthocyanidins are antioxidant compounds that are responsible for the blue, purple, and red pigments of blueberries.  They are also a very good source of soluble fiber, insoluble fiber (such as pectin), vitamin C, manganese, and riboflavin. Research found that blueberries have the highest antioxidant capability.  Antioxidants may also be effective in the protection against alzheimer's disease.  Research has shown that blueberries help to protect the brain from oxidative stress and may reduce the effects of age related conditions, such as alzheimer's disease.

Red Apple

Apples are an excellent source of pectin, vitamin C, and fiber.  They are also a good source of potassium.  The skin contains most of the apple's important nutrients.  Raw apples are higher in many nutrients and phytochemicals than cooked apples.  Apples that are raw and unpeeled, are a great source of many important phytochemicals, such as ellagic acid and flavonoids (especially quercetin).  For example, fresh whole apples and fresh apple juice contain approximately 100-130 milligrams per 100 grams (roughly 3 1/2 ounces) of chlorogenic, ellagic, and caffeic acids.  In cooked or commercial apples, the content of these compounds is at or near zero. Research has shown that the old saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" is true.In one of the studies, researchers in Finland followed more than 5,000 Finnish men and women for more than twenty years.  Those who ate a lot of apples along with other flavonoid-rich foods, such as onions and tea, were found to have a 20 percent lower risk of heart disease than those who ate the smallest amount of those foods.

Green Kiwi
Kiwi fruit provides an excellent source of vitamin C.  It also offers a very good source of fiber.  Kiwi contains decent amounts of vitamins A and E, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and copper. Kiwi, like other vitamin C-rich foods, is especially important in promoting respiratory tract health.  Studies have shown that  kiwi and citrus are also effective against respiratory-related health problems including wheezing, shortness of breath, and high coughing.  Kiwi is also rich in antioxidants and enzymes.

Golden Kiwi
Kiwi fruit provides an excellent source of vitamin C.  It also offers a very good source of fiber.  Kiwi contains decent amounts of vitamins A and E, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and copper. Kiwi, like other vitamin C-rich foods, is especially important in promoting respiratory tract health.  Studies have shown that  kiwi and citrus are also effective against respiratory-related health problems including wheezing, shortness of breath, and high coughing.  Kiwi is also rich in antioxidants and enzymes.

Grapes
The nutritional benefits of grapes are similar to those found in other berries.  To receive the most nutrients from grapes, it's recommended that the seeds are also consumed. Grapes are very good sources of manganese and are also good sources of thimanin, vitamin B6, riboflavin, vitamin C, and potassium. They are an excellent source of health promoting flavonoids.  Usually, the stronger the color of the grape, the higher the concentration of flavonoids.  Grape seed extracts are rich in flavonoids known as procyanolic oligomers, and have been widely used in treating varicose veins and other venous disorders.  These flavonoids are very powerful antioxidants and have been shown to reverse atherosclerosis.  In France grapes and grape products, such as wine, are consumed far more than they are in America.  Studies have shown that even though the French eat a diet high in saturated fats and cholesterol they have a lower risk of heat disease than Americans.

Lemon
Lemons provide an excellent source of vitamin C. They are also a good source of vitamin B6, folic acid, potassium, limonene, and flavonoids. Studies have been done on the phytochemical limonene which is extracted from lemons. Findings showed that limonene contains anticancer properties and is effective in dissolving gallstones.  The highest concentration of limonene is located in the white spongy inner parts of the lemon.

Coconut
Coconuts provide an excellent source of copper, manganese, and molybdenum.  They are also a good source of selenium and zinc.  Similar to most other nuts, coconuts contain a large amount of fat.  Unlike other nuts, coconuts provide fat that is almost all in the form of health-promoting medium-chain saturated fats instead of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Watermelon / Melon
When compared to other fruits, watermelon has an extremely high water content.  It is about 92 percent water.  It is low in calories and provides a very good source of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and lycopene.  Watermelon also provides a good source of vitamins B1 and B6, biotin, pantothenic acid, magnesium, fiber, and potassiumDue to its high water content and lower calorie content, watermelon delivers more nutrients per calorie.   It contains a large amount of some of the most important antioxidants in nature, including lycopene.  Lycopene is the red carotenoid pigment that also gives tomatoes their red color..

Papaya
Papayas provide an excellent source of carotenes, flavonoids, and vitamin C.  They are also a very good source of vitamins A and E, folic acid, fiber, and potassium. The fruit and other parts of the papaya tree contain papain.  Papain is an enzyme that helps to digest proteins.  It is more concentrated in the fruit when it is unripe.  Papayas have been valued for their high papain content and also for their protective benefits against cancer, heart disease, and other diseases associated with free-radical damage. Papain is used as a digesting enzyme in dietary supplements and as an ingredient in many meat tenderizers.  It is also used to treat several conditions such as indigestion, hay fever, chronic diarrhea, allergies, and sports injuries

Banana
Bananas offer an excellent source of potassium and vitamin B6.  They are also a good source of fiber, magnesium, carbohydrates, vitamin C, riboflavin, and biotin.  Since bananas have a lower water content than most other fruits, they contain more calories and more sugar than those fruits. Bananas are packed with several nutrients, especially potassium.  Potassium is one of the most important electrolytes in the body because it helps to regulate heart function and also fluid balance.  The regulation of heart function and fluid balance are key factors in regulating blood pressure.  Studies have shown that potassium rich foods are very effective in lowering blood pressure and protecting against heart disease and stoke. Bananas contain a high amount of pectin.  Pectin is a soluble fiber that lowers cholesterol, is soothing to the gastrointestinal tract, and normalizes bowel function. Studies have shown that plantain bananas may be effective in the treatment of peptic ulcers.

Pineapple
Pineapple provides an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese.  It also offers a very good source of vitamin B1, and is a good source of fiber, vitamin B6, copper, and  magnesium. Fresh pineapple is rich in bromelain.  The protein-digesting enzymes in bromelain are effective for digestion and reducing inflammation and swelling, such as in carpal tunnel syndrome.  The enzymes also break down mucus in respiratory conditions, such as pneumonia and bronchitis, and have effective anticancer properties.  Since pineapple provides an excellent source of manganese, it is beneficial in energy production and antioxidant defenses.

Passion Fruit

Passion fruit are egg-shaped tropical fruit that are also called purple granadillas.  They are a rich source of vitamin C and a good source of vitamin A, iron, and potassium. The seeds are an excellent source of fiber.  Passion fruit have wrinkled purple brown rinds and contain several seeds.  The seeds are edible, therefore the orange pulp can be eaten straight from the shell.  Their pulp is aromatic and fairly sweet.  In tropical countries passion fruit is primarily used for juicing. Passion fruit have somniferous properties, and when taken before going to bed they are effective in relaxation and a restful sleep during the night.  They also have febrifugal and soporific properties.
